Once upon a time... in a hotel in Sölden
Everything started small. Everything? Almost everything, as in the HOTEL LIEBE SONNE, the plans were always for something bigger. In 1994 the Gurschler family acquired the original house in the centre of Sölden and developed it to their ideas and wishes. The HOTEL LIEBE SONNE was always planned to be a place where love and sunshine reside. To this day our light flooded hotel lives up to this dream! The inn "Zur Sonne", for example, is the first inn in the village mentioned by Johann Jakob Staffler in the description of Tyrol and Vorarlberg.
Today the Gurshler family do not only own the hotel but also three other hospitality venues to enjoy, all within easy reach of the hotel. The SCHIRMBAR directly in front of the hotel is especially popular in fine weather, the ALMRAUSCH PUB always promises a fun time, and the legendary FIRE & ICE in the centre of Sölden is a place to party until 2 o’clock in the morning.
